Instructions during treatment
In order for your orthodontic treatment to proceed and be completed correctly, the following instructions should be followed.
If they are not followed correctly, results and treatment time could be compromised.
- Do not bite on hard objects (pencils, nails) and foods (nuts, candy, rusks, hard crusts, very hard food)
- Do not put your hands into your mouth trying to remove food or checking on the appliances
- Always use ONLY your toothbrush
- All sticky substances, chewing gums (even those that do not contain sugar), chewy bars, candy, turkish delights, pastels, etc. are prohibited
- All foods should be cut into pieces before entering the mouth
- Remove the bone from any form of meat and cut it into pieces before eating it
- The same applies to apples, corn, souvlaki and generally any food that we usually eat in the same way
- In general, we never bite anything with our front teeth
- We always remove the seeds from fruits
- We recommend buying an interdental toothbrush for better cleaning between your teeth
Don't Forget
Brushing your teeth 3 times a day, using a fluoride solution and visiting your dentist every 6 months is the only guarantee for a forever beautiful and strong smile!!!
